Responsibilities

What you’ll do: 

Sr. Motion Designers work alongside supervising/ Executive Motion Designers, Creative Directors and Account Services to oversee projects from the conceptual stage through completion. Within the Razorfish Production group, Motion Designers are responsible for initiating, coordinating, supervising, and aligning all aspects of the Video, Motion Graphics, Audio, and Interactive processes alongside the Executive Motion Designer and Discipline leads.

Day-to-day, your role includes: 

On a daily basis, Sr. Motion Designers will be involved in the creative, financial, technological, supervisory, and administrative processes of a production from inception to completion. Sr. Motion Designers communicate daily with the Production, client services, and creative teams, help to manage timelines and deliverables,

Experience 

• 5-7 years of experience as a Motion Designer in an Interactive, Video, and / or Motion Graphics related field.
• Detail-focused, organized, and a creative problem solver
• Clear understanding and knowledge of the Motion Design, and Video Production process from concept to completion.
• Understanding of Industry processes and workflows including: VFX, live action integration, camera and object tracking, rotoscope, and 3D compositing.
• Experience animation computer and/or mobile UI
• Experience compositing 3D render passes, preferably consumer electronics
• Strong understanding of After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite latest releases, and Cinema 4D as a bonus
• Strong understanding of relevant plugins: Trapcode Suite, Plexus, Magic Bullet Suite.

• Has successfully lead internal multidisciplinary pre, post and production teams
• Has been part of the recruiting process and made hiring recommendations
• Has structured engagements, set expectations and anticipated roadblocks.
• Has shown competency as a presenter
