Communications and PA Lead LATAM, Pharma International
The Pharma International Communications and Public Affairs Lead, LATAM, Pharma International, is part of a self managed team working to foster Roche’s influence, establish and leverage partnerships and platforms to meaningfully advance the public health conversation, and mobilise our people behind a common purpose and strategy.
While the successful candidate will lead the corporate affairs network for both Pharma and Diagnostics in LATAM, he/she will also be required to lead work on our Pharma International strategic priorities globally.
Articulates the vision of both divisions (Diagnostics & Pharma), becoming a champion of the One Roche approach to ensure alignment and One Voice in the external ecosystem.
Builds and embeds sustainable, meaningful Customer Experience capabilities and mindset.
Sets an ambitious, patient-centred vision and coaches the functional team to act as catalysts for change across the function and company

Partners closely with Public Policy and market shaping teams to ensure impactful OneRoche approach and optimum stakeholder experience.
Is a trusted member of the LATAM NET team and the Regional Diagnostics Team and acts as a sparring partner, advisor and inspiration sparker for the Pharma Area Head, the Diagnostics Sub-Regional Lead, GMs and their respective leadership teams where needed
Directly manages a team of communications managers and digital engagement leads, and indirectly leads the corporate affairs network in LATAM.

The small print
7-10 years of public affairs experience in the biotech and/ or pharmaceutical industrySpanish fluency and strong English essential. Portugese an advantage Bachelor degree, preferably in International Relations, Politics or History from a top tier universityPostgraduate degree in International Relations, Public Policy or Int'l Development a plusSignificant travel required
