Billing Analyst

MuleSoft is looking for a Billing Analyst to join our growing Accounting team in Buenos Aires to work with our customer base and provide predictability in our billing processes during our company's explosive growth. You will be contributing directly to top-line revenue growth and assist in driving process improvements, as well as taking responsibility for obtaining and verifying the information required for accurate and complete billing to our customers, beginning with focusing on travel and entertainment incurred by both MuleSoft Employees and Consultants.

What you’ll achieve:

3 months:

  • Obtain a basic understanding of reading and interpreting customer contracts with respect to reimbursement of travel and entertainment expenses
  • Become proficient using NetSuite’s invoicing functions along with our Concur System (expense reimbursements), Open Air (Project Accounting), and Salesforce
  • Work with the Accounting, Sales Operations groups, and Services organization to determine scalable solutions as the volume increases
  • Be one of the key owners of the entire invoicing process surrounding billable travel and entertainment expenses
  • Process appropriate billing data in NetSuite

12 months:

  • Ensure that the billing is on time and collections are made when funds are due on an ongoing basis
  • Implement process changes to continue to streamline the process as MuleSoft grows
  • Reporting to the Financial Controller:  you will generate monthly, timely, and accurate customer billing related to travel and entertainment expenses
  • Detailed review of contracts against billing requirements:  validate key billing data within Open Air for customer consulting projects, Salesforce, and NetSuite
  • Resolve invoice disputes and handle billing inquiries for customers related to reimbursable travel and entertainment expenses
  • Create and prepare reports as needed

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • B.S./B.A. – Business Administration or equivalent – Graduated or Student
  • A passion for the details combined with a vision for big-picture goals
  • Excellent command of English and solid communication skills with the person’s direct manager, high-level executives, and colleagues
  • A “do whatever it takes” attitude
  • Self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
