 What responsibilities will you get when working with us?

• Work on the conception, development and operation of web-based software.
• Look for new solutions in the cloud environment to continuously improve the existing architectures on a cloud-based platform.
• Work with Scrum Master, the Product Owner and your team using agile methods to overseeing OLX’s cloud computing strategy
• Coach new team members and transfer existing know-how to other teams.

 What will you need to be successful in this role?

• 5+ years’ experience with Web apps, building apps from the scratch, refactoring and maintenance
• Strong hands-on experience as a software architect designing and delivering large scale classifieds websites
• Strong technical skills and critical thinking, and ability to communicate your vision at high levels to diverse technical audiences and top Management
• Experience implementing tools, processes, internal instrumentation, methodologies and resolving blockages
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as PHP or Java, relational databases (MySQL or others) and Cache systems and deep knowledge on Cloud Services [ AWS / GCP ]
• Deep experience and knowledge of RESTful services and APIs
• Independent, structured way of working with strong awareness of quality
• Be able to communicate in English (spoken and written)
