Senior Consultant for Delivering Deal Value (Advisory/Deals)

Due to the continued success and increasing demand for our services, our fast-growing Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team, within PwC Deals, is seeking to enhance its capabilities in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Our team assists both corporate and private-equity clients in a wide range of operational and transformational challenges driven by M&A activity. We help executives delivering and creating value from acquisitions and divestitures across the deal continuum. As part of the transaction process, our team members develop a rapid understanding of the client’s business in order to quickly assimilate the key issues, synergies, risks and upsides around a transaction.

Due to the global nature of the deal environment, our DDV organisation works and collaborates with international teams in Europe. Joining us, you will get the chance to engage with highly experienced colleagues and to actively build your career in the deal environment.

Role description

As a Senior Consultant in DDV, you are a vital member of the team supporting transactions from an operational standpoint. In this role, you will work on assignments that span across the entire lifecycle of a M&A deal including detailed analyses for operational due diligence, carve-out execution, post-merger integration or rapid value creation projects. This also comprises data analysis and modelling, report creation, project management, planning, implementation and process improvement. 

Skills and experiences 

  • Above average bachelor’s degree (e.g. Business, Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Law, etc.) 

  • 2/3+ years of work experience (preferably in Advisory, M&A, or related fields)

  • High degree of analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems 

  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written 

  • Ability to work independently on qualitative and quantitative analyses 

  • Team player with the ability to engage in international teams 

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written 

  • Advanced skills in MS-Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 

  • Understanding of data analytics tools such as PowerBI and Tableau (desirable)
