EXT- Software Lifecycle Engineer

As part of the Software Operations team, you will participate in the end-to-end management of the lifecycle of corporate applications (commodity applications), acting as both a functional and technical point of contact for a portfolio of solutions used across the company.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Managing the full lifecycle of assigned applications, from evaluation and onboarding through to retirement. • Coordinating activities related to deployments, upgrades, maintenance, and technology obsolescence. • Collaborating with vendors, software manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure the evolution and stability of solutions. • Defining and tracking the roadmap for the applications under your responsibility. • Managing risks, vulnerabilities, compliance requirements, and cybersecurity-related aspects. • Coordinating the resolution of complex incidents and recurring issues, acting as an escalation point. • Participating in change management processes, validations, and testing of new software releases. • Monitoring application adoption, usage, and business value across the organization. • Working closely with business areas and other IT teams to identify needs and drive continuous improvements. • Ensuring proper documentation, licensing, governance, and alignment with corporate standards.

What profile are we looking for? What do we expect from you?
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Experience in managing corporate applications and IT services.

• Knowledge of software lifecycle management and Software Lifecycle Management processes.
• Experience with software deployment and management tools (Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Company Portal, etc.).
• Knowledge of application vulnerability management, updates, and maintenance processes. • Experience working with technology vendors and software providers.
• Knowledge of software licensing management and subscription models is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL, Agile methodologies, and IT Service Management practices.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong skills in identifying risks, defining action plans, and ensuring follow-through.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate solution usage, adoption, and business value. • Strong communication and presentation skills in international environments.
• Experience with automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity processes, compliance requirements, and technology risk management is a plus.
