SR Backend Engineer

The role
For our client we are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (individual contributor, with participation in architecture decisions), joining a highly collaborative team that works closely with the client's US-based engineers.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of backend experience. (TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Go, etc.).
• Proven experience solving complex technical problems at scale, with concrete, measurable results.
• Deep, hands-on use of AI in daily engineering work (coding agents, context management, model selection).
• Having built AI-powered tools, agents or integrations (e.g. MCP servers, LLM integrations) is a strong plus.
• Experience with data pipelines, event-driven systems or data platforms.
• Strong production mindset: observability, incident handling, CI/CD.
• Advanced English: the hiring process and daily work are fully in English.
