For our cliente, we are looking for a technical Analytics System Specialist to join our global Web Platform Team, working side by side with our Analytics System Lead. This role will support the implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of our digital analytics, tag management, and consent management ecosystem across our global web properties.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who combines strong technical skills with a solid understanding of digital analytics best practices, data privacy, and consent and
preference frameworks. You will partner with global stakeholders, business units, and technical teams to ensure our analytics infrastructure is reliable, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Web Analytics Implementation & Support: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise web analytics implementations across multiple websites, ensuring accurate data collection, processing, and reporting.
• Tag Management: Design, deploy, and maintain tags, rules, and data elements using enterprise tag management platforms. Ensure proper tag governance, versioning, and change control.
• Consent & Preference Management: Implement and maintain consent and preference management workflows, ensuring full alignment with global privacy regulations (GDPR,
CCPA, LGPD, etc.) and internal data protection policies.
• Data Layer Design: Define and maintain data layer specifications in collaboration with developers, marketers, and analytics stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Perform end-to-end testing, debugging, and validation of analytics and tagging implementations across browsers, devices, and environments.
• Documentation & Governance: Create and maintain technical documentation, tracking specifications, Solution Design References (SDRs), and operational runbooks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with global business units, marketing teams, web developers, and external vendors to translate business requirements into technical
analytics solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to evaluating new tools, vendors, and best practices, including participation in RFI/RFP processes for analytics, tag management, and consent platforms.
• Incident & Issue Resolution: Provide L2/L3 technical support for analytics-related incidents, root cause analysis, and remediation.
Required Qualifications
• Education: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Digital Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in digital analytics implementation and tag management in enterprise environments.
• Technical Expertise:
o Strong proficiency with Adobe digital marketing solutions (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Cloud).
o Solid experience with enterprise tag management systems (implementation, configuration, governance, and debugging).
o Hands-on knowledge of consent and preference management platforms and frameworks.
o Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and browser developer tools for debugging.
o Familiarity with data layer concepts (e.g., W3C standards, client-side data layers) and APIs.
• Privacy & Compliance: Working understanding of GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and other data privacy regulations as applied to web tracking, cookies, and user consent.
• Languages: Advanced English (written and spoken) – mandatory for daily collaboration with global teams.
Nice to Have
• Experience with Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), or personalization/testing tools.
• Familiarity with server-side tagging concepts and architectures.
• Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Industry certifications in web analytics or tag management platforms.
• Experience working in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or highly regulated industries.
• Experience supporting global, multi-site, multi-language web ecosystems.
