We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer and Product Developer.
We are moving away from rigid role definitions and are looking for a technically strong team member with a multi-learning mindset who is curious, pragmatic, and comfortable contributing across software engineering, test automation, validation, and operational topics.
You will help ensure the quality and reliability of our RISE platform by designing, implementing, and continuously improving automated testing solutions. You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts, Validation Managers, the Business Product Owner, and other stakeholders to increase automation coverage, improve release quality, and support the long-term evolution of our testing landscape.
While Tricentis Tosca is currently our primary automation platform, we are also evaluating modern automation technologies such as Playwright.
Tasks & Responsibilities
• Analyze user stories, requirements, and business processes to identify opportunities for automation.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Contribute software development expertise (e.g., Python) to support automation and tooling.
• Prepare test data and support test environment readiness.
• Execute automated test cycles and support defect management activities.
• Collaborate closely with Business and IT stakeholders within an Agile product team.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, test efficiency, and engineering practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the RISE test automation framework.
• Evaluate and support potential migration scenarios from Tosca to Playwright or other future automation frameworks.
• Support knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration within the product team.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering (e.g. Python), testing, and test automation.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca or comparable enterprise test automation platforms.
• Expert knowledge of test automation lifecycle, test case design techniques, defect management, functional and integration testing.
• Experience working within agile product teams is highly desirable.
• Experience in regulated environments and validation-related documentation is highly desirable.
• Professional English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Tricentis Tosca certifications (Automation Specialist, Test Design Specialist, Automation Engineer).
