Tasks & responsibilities
Support global eDiscovery and digital forensic activities within the IT Legal team
Act as an interface between IT and Legal Business Partners, ensuring alignment with IT processes and standards
Coordinate and consult directly with Legal stakeholders on eDiscovery and digital forensic requirements and cases
Perform custodial and noncustodial data collections across endpoints, cloud storage, M365 workloads, network shares and other data sources. Perform quality checks and prepare handoffs for internal partners or external vendors
Monitor and report on eDiscovery and digital forensic KPIs, including preparation of monthly metrics and status reports
Contribute to continuous improvement of eDiscovery / Forensic processes and capabilities in response to growing demand and system complexity
Support project tasks, such as tool evaluations or system testing.
Ensure compliance with regulatory privacy, and security requirements during evidence collection, handling and transfer including strict maintenance of chain of custody and other forensic requirements.
Requirements
Intermediate understanding of eDiscovery / Forensic practices, tools, and processes
Proven track record performing end-to-end data collection, processing and forensic analysis in investigations and litigations. Strong expertise in applying EDRM, ISO 27037 and other industry standards in your daily work.
Good knowledge of structured and unstructured data handling
Solid understanding of IT architecture, including:
o Network infrastructure
o Endpoints and Mobile Devices
o Server environments
o Cloud-based systems
Understanding of typical technologies related to automation and scripting (e.g. Python, git, AI integration)
Experience working in cross-functional environments, ideally with Legal & Compliance departments
Ability to coordinate across global teams and manage multiple stakeholders in time critical context
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with a proactive mindset
High discretion and judgement with sensitive matters.
Ability to communicate in written / spoken in English.
Detailed-oriented with a strong focus on documentation accuracy and self-critical view on personal work products.
